No Torah Study on March 14th!
Dear Valued Congregant,
Beth Yeshua is remaining OPEN, however, due to logistical circumstances unrelated to the Corona Virus, we will be CLOSED ON MARCH 14th. Most of our leadership will not be in town this Saturday making it very difficult to conduct a regular service. The doors will be open again on March 21st, at which time we will be hosting guest minister Sally Klein O’Connor.
Given global concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations of the international health community, the leadership of Beth Yeshua wanted to make you aware of the precautions we are taking on your behalf.
If you currently have or recently had a cough or fever we are asking you to stay home until you are no longer symptomatic. IF you are over the age of 60, OR if you have an underlying medical condition that affects your immunity we think you should consider staying home and watching us via live stream.
As a further precaution, we are postponing all children’s ministry until further notice. For those attending, we will continue the “no hug, no handshake” rule. Please try to maintain the safe distance that is being recommended, not speaking into faces, etc. For that reason, we are also suspending onegs for the next few weeks.
Frequent hand washing and not touching your face is the best practice to keep the virus from spreading. You may go to the CDPH website for a complete list of how to protect yourself and others. www.cdph.ca.gov
Going forward, we will continue to have our usual services unless the state or local government puts out a protocol requiring that we close, or the Lord directs otherwise.
Just a reminder that our “…Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Most accounts indicate that we are told to “Fear not” over 365 times in the Word. Let His love in us show compassion for those in need during this time.
We also want to encourage you to continue your financial support of Beth Yeshua through PayPal here or mail your tithes and offerings to our post office box so that we can continue to cover our ongoing financial responsibilities. P. O. Box 219, Roseville 95661
We maintain our availability to you for any need you have. Contact us through the website in the usual way and someone in leadership will be diligent to address your requests and concerns. Our website will inform you of further developments as well as provide a link to our livestreaming. www.bethyeshua.org
Thank you for being faithful to Beth Yeshua,
Rabbi Josh Rubinstein and Elder Steven Childs
